For a wide range of clients in the livestock sector, construction, chemistry and glass industry, Zijderlaan provides the 'loose bulk' transport services. For this transport, we use tipper trucks, tipper trailers, roll-off containers with cable and hooklift systems and walking floors. Because loading often takes place at farms, our vehicles have their own axle load weighing system.

GMP+ certified processes

For the cattle feed quality guarantee in all animal feed chain links, the module GMP + Feed Safety Assurance has been established. Our company is GMP+ certified. Based on practical needs, various components in the GMP + FSA module have been integrated, such as quality management system requirements (ISO 9001), HACCP, product standards, traceability, monitoring, basic conditionality, chain approach and Early Warning System.

Bulk transport is one of the transport activities Zijderlaan offers. Due to the fact that Zijderlaan is involved in every stage of the transport process, it can tighten the organisation. Due to specific wishes and requirements from individual customers, we need to think about solutions with each customer again and again. By adequately anticipating questions, Zijderlaan has grown in this industry in recent years. Now more Valued Added Logistics have been added to the total range, including for example repackaging from big bags or bulk goods from our warehouse in Stolwijk.

Zijderlaan unburdens and contributes where desired

Break bulk goods depending on size, quantity and weight will get suitable transport at Zijderlaan. For break bulk goods, 45 curtainsiders are used every day for Full Truck Loads (FTL) and distribution. Ten trailers equipped with a tailgate and electric pump truck are used for distribution in the Benelux. The other semi-trailers are used for a broader range of goods within the Benelux, but also for longer distances (to almost all European countries). Our semi-trailers have a sliding roof specifically for this type of work.
