Transportation, warehousing and VAL under one roof

Zijderlaan has extensive knowledge and experience in warehousing, Value Added Logistics, transport and customer-specific solutions. This added value leads us to offer our customers integrated logistics 'Supply Chain Management' tailor-made solutions. After the expansion in early 2013, with the semi-automated high-rise warehouses, we now offer over 25,000 m2 of loading and unloading space with loading docks. Both block stacking, pallet racks and multi-layer storage / satellite application are possible storage methods.

Complete line of service

In cooperation with our logistics partner Stubbe we have been transporting (shipping containers and tautliners) and distribution activities for a joint client for many years. Stubbe has specialised in the treatment of liquids for years. Zijderlaan has modern distribution centres with storage methods and a strong distribution network. All of this comes together in the current taproom. The DC Stolwijk taproom, through fully automated filling lines, liquid substances are deposited into different packaging units in both drums and IBCs. Our own Warehouse Management System provides real-time traceability for the customer.

Taproom

  • Completely renovated in 2012 to AEO and GMP quality standard
  • Fully automated filling line and separate line for IBCs with expansion possibilities
  • Current capacity: 600 barrels and 100 IBC per day
  • Use filters up to 1 μm
  • Oven available for heating drums
  • Nitrogen for filling under vacuum
